Turtle Volunteer Program

Last post’s answer: Cotton buds! Yeay. Congrats to Angeline and Chin Hong for answering correctly. No prizes though. :P

————————————————————————————————–

I was away from mainland last weekend. I was in Redang volunteering for the Turtle Volunteer Program in Chagar Hutang. It was my second time there and I had so much fun during my first trip. The program only officially starts in April. But turtles had already started landing since January and since the staffs need to go for their prayers on Friday, some volunteers are needed to help monitor the beach when they’re away. So Feli, Chuin Siew and me volunteered for the 4 days 3 nights program in CH. We get to see the first batch (nested in January) of hatchlings hatch and turtles nesting during that period of time! We are so so so lucky. :) There will be more pictures for this post for a better viewing pleasure. :)

Do register for the program if you’re interested. You can do so by clicking here. But all the slots are nearly fully booked. So be fast!
